BRISTOL NORTH B GRADE GALA 29TH APRIL
THORNBURY 203
WESTON SUPER MARE 160
KEYNSHAM 156
BRISTOL NORTH 120
BRISTOL PENQUINS 85
There were some top swimmers in this graded gala!! Some of our National swimmers would have struggled to beat some of the times!
I know it is not always possible to make a full team of "B" swimmers, so to slot an odd "A" swimmer in and swim them out of their favoured stroke is accepted. Thornbury seemed to have done that with about half of their team!! A tad unfair to the ethos of a graded gala I think. On the plus side, it gave our swimmers a chance to swim against some tough competition. The kids coped really well. For some it was their 1st or 2nd gala and they were totally undaunted by the standard of some of the swimmers. Some great p.bs achieved in all ages. Well done guys, you were fab.
