NATIONAL COUNTY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

5 Keynsham swimmers represented Somerset at Pond's Forge Sheffield in the National County Champs. The team was made up of 16 Millfield, 3 Taunton Deane and 1 Street swimmers plus Rosie Williams, Krissy Brown, Martin Bleaken, Loren Bleaken and Siobhan'Connor from Keynsham. 39 Counties took part. SOMERSET SPRINTS OCT 4TH

Well done to all Keynsham swimmers who took part in The Somerset County Sprints. It was a long day with some events  having 100 swimmers competing!! Keynsham Girls did especially well getting 3rd after Millfield and Taunton Deane. 3 Girls' broke records so an extra well done to Siobhan O'connor who broke all 4 records in the 12yr age group. Loren Bleaken moved up to the 13yr age group but still managed to equal the free record. Katie Parfitt also broke a record in the 9yrs 50 Breast. Fantastic swimming girls.
