Keynsham swimming club is a competetive club near Bath and Bristol, in Somerset, UK.

We are memebers of the British Amateur Swimming Association(ASA) and Western Counties Amateur Swimming Association(ASA).

The club competes in many arenas and has swimmers in such competitions as the Speedo League, Southern Junior League, Western Counties Championships, Somerset County Championships, British National Championships and many more.

We compete against clubs mostly from the South West such as Millfield, Weston-Super-Mare, Cardif, Soundwell, Bristol Penguins, Bristol Henleaze, Bristol North swimming clubs and many more.

BRISTOL HALF MARATHON 5TH SEPT

Well done to the Keynsham team of  Eve Lockett, Abbie Bidgood, Joe and Sam Beament. All ran brilliantly to raise money for Access Sport. Thanks to all those that sponsored them. Well done Team.

WORLD RECORD FOR YOUNGEST CHANNEL SWIMMERS

Well done to the 12yr and younger bristol based swimmers who have broken the record for the youngest team to swim the channel. James Elmer who swims for Keynsham was part of the team that swam for about 14 hours and achieved the swim on the 3rd Sept. Rosalind Cranham was a reserve. Both swimmers have been training for this event for 2 years. What a brilliant commitment and achievement.

TRI NATIONS CUP

A very well done To Erin Jeffery who has been picked for the GB team going to the Tri Nations Cup in Quebec during the summer. This is a result of coming 5th in the final of the 400 IM at the Olympic Trials.

Salisbury Stingray Open Meet 20th April

Well done to all the swimmers that came to the Salisbury Open meet on Sunday. It was a very long but successful day. Particular congratulations to Hannah Smith who won 6 medals and came second in the overall top girl for her age group. Also to Verity Brunwin who won three medals. A special mention to Alex Carter who was at his first open meet and won a bronze in the 50m breatsroke. Most of the swimmers had PB's and many of them swam in different individuals for the first time so well done to you all.

This was a very exciting and close gala. Ferndown especially are one of the top clubs in the west country so to get so close was brilliant. Well done to all our swimmers that competed. Some extremely close finishes and fab swimming with lots of PB's achieved, well done.
