Keynsham swimming club is a competetive club near Bath and Bristol, in Somerset, UK.

We are memebers of the British Amateur Swimming Association(ASA) and Western Counties Amateur Swimming Association(ASA).

The club competes in many arenas and has swimmers in such competitions as the Speedo League, Southern Junior League, Western Counties Championships, Somerset County Championships, British National Championships and many more.

We compete against clubs mostly from the South West such as Millfield, Weston-Super-Mare, Cardif, Soundwell, Bristol Penguins, Bristol Henleaze, Bristol North swimming clubs and many more.

BRISTOL HALF MARATHON 5TH SEPT

Well done to the Keynsham team of  Eve Lockett, Abbie Bidgood, Joe and Sam Beament. All ran brilliantly to raise money for Access Sport. Thanks to all those that sponsored them. Well done Team.

SOMERSET DEVELOPMENT MEET 2/3RD OCT

This meet which is held at Hutton Moor, Weston Super Mare is a great competition for those that are going for county times. All Gold squad members that have not entered the Bristol Norths should be entering this please. Also all Junior and Senior squad swimmers this is great for you too. Entries have to be in by this Monday 12th Sept.

WESTERN COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 24/25TH NOV

Well done to Erin Jeffery, Simon Rex, Mike Oram, Krissy Brown and Martin Bleaken who qualified and attended these championships.

Erin got Gold in 800 Free, 400 free, 400 I.M and 200 I.M all National qualifying Times.

Simon was 2nd in the 400 I.M and 7th in 200 Breast. Simon achieved 4 National Qualifying times.

Martin got 6th in the 200fly.

Brilliant results guys.

WORLD CUP STOCKHOLM 13/14TH NOV

Rich Webb competed in the Stockholm round of The Swimming World Cup representing Great Britain. Rich did some fantastic swims including  finishing 7th in the 200 Breast Final in an amazing time of 2.12.67.

Rich is off to the Europeans in Hungary representing Great Britain in Dec. We wish him the very best.

Well done to all our swimmers that swam at Keynsham in Thornbury's junior gala. A special mention must go to some of our 9 year old swimmers that also had to swim up and compete in 100's in the 10 year old age group as well. We were 1st in 25 out of the 51 swims. Fantastic result guys against some top clubs.
