A very tough 1st round in the Premier Division as expected. Unfortunatly we were 6 swimmers down, so some juggling of swims was needed. I would like to thank especially those swimmers I asked to swim out of their strokes or up an age or two. All did it with no complaints and showed why Keynsham is a great little club with fab team commitment.

Keynsham achieved 4 1st places. So well done to Rich Webb who won both his open events. Erin Jeffery who won the girls 200 I.M and the 13yr old girls Free Relay team of Siobhan O'Connor, Alice Havers, Hayley Bidgood and Loren Bleaken, great swimming.

The next round is on Sat Nov 10th. It may involve traveling by coach during the early afternoon, so please be aware of this.

The team list is on the board which will be confirmed after the 1st round of the club champs. Please tick asap.

SOMERSET SPRINT CHAMPS OCT 6TH

Well done to all those that took part in these 50 metre sprint championships.

3 records were broken by our swimmers so a very well done to Siobhan O'Connor who broke both the records in the 11yrs fly and also the free, which was by a massive 2 seconds! Loren Bleaken also broke the 12yrs free, fab swimming girls.

SPEEDO 13TH OCT KEYNSHAM

The final Team list is on the board for the 1st round of the Premier Division of the Speedo League, which is being held at Keynsham. Please be on the balcony ready to swim at 4.45pm. The competing teams are Millfield, Taunton Deane, Force Five A, City of Newport and Carms A. All top teams with top swimmers! This is a tough draw so 100% plus swimming will be needed to compete with these excellent clubs. Please, when you are not swimming, cheer and encourage your team mates. Keynsham has a fab team spirit, let's show these other teams what we are made of! Good Luck Keynsham.
