Bristol Central 99

Well done to our swimmers that competed in this gala at a very hot Horfield pool. Unfortunatly 3 of our relay teams were disqualified for flyers! I was at the end of the lane for the whole gala and didn't see one dodgy takeover! But I am booking an appointment at the Opticians because obviously the judge has much better eyesight than me !!!! This meant that we lost a total of 14 points!

Well done to Stroud, a lovely club with some great swimmers, a well deserved win.

CONGRATS

Well done to Rich Webb and Mike Oram.

Rich has been selected for England's Talent Development programme. This programme is for swimmers who have potential for medaling on the world stage. Only 30 swimmers in England between the ages of 13 and 20 have been selected. Fab news.

Mike has been selected to represent Somerset County at Sheffield in Oct in the 14/15yrs 100 Fly and also in the relay. Only the top swimmer in each age and event in the whole of Somerset is selected. Another great achievement. Well done again lads.
