Well done to all our swimmers that competed in this very exciting but tough home gala. Unfortunatly we were abit depleted in some age groups so swimmers were swimming up an age or two, so an extra slap on the back to them. We had 8 1st places so great swimming to Siobhan O'Connor who won her 3 races. Katie Parfitt won her 2 races. Martin Bleaken won the open 100 Fly, Simon Rex won the open 100 back. The open girls finished 1st in the Medley team so well done to Verity Brunwin, Siobhan, Abbie Bidgood and Coral Whittle. Thanks to all our helpers and officials.
Annual Membership fees due now please
The annual membership fee of £30 per swimmer is due now, this is in addition to the monthly fees. This covers the annual fee the Club has to pay to the Amuateur Swimming Association (ASA). The ASA provides insurance to Clubs & swimmers covering all our activities and enables swimmers to take part in competitions. KASC has to pay the fee to the ASA by 31st March, late payment will result in our Club being suspended and swimmers will be unable to take part in competitions i.e. open meets and galas. Please pay your membership fee, by cheque made payable KASC, to Bet Parsons or Anne Whittle by 28th February. Many thanks for your co-operation.
