Keynsham swimming club is a competetive club near Bath and Bristol, in Somerset, UK.

We are memebers of the British Amateur Swimming Association(ASA) and Western Counties Amateur Swimming Association(ASA).

The club competes in many arenas and has swimmers in such competitions as the Speedo League, Southern Junior League, Western Counties Championships, Somerset County Championships, British National Championships and many more.

We compete against clubs mostly from the South West such as Millfield, Weston-Super-Mare, Cardif, Soundwell, Bristol Penguins, Bristol Henleaze, Bristol North swimming clubs and many more.

BRISTOL HALF MARATHON 5TH SEPT

Well done to the Keynsham team of  Eve Lockett, Abbie Bidgood, Joe and Sam Beament. All ran brilliantly to raise money for Access Sport. Thanks to all those that sponsored them. Well done Team.

WORLD RECORD FOR YOUNGEST CHANNEL SWIMMERS

Well done to the 12yr and younger bristol based swimmers who have broken the record for the youngest team to swim the channel. James Elmer who swims for Keynsham was part of the team that swam for about 14 hours and achieved the swim on the 3rd Sept. Rosalind Cranham was a reserve. Both swimmers have been training for this event for 2 years. What a brilliant commitment and achievement.

Movember time

Movember time!

Some of you will have seen me sporting some "special" facial hair - my excuse is it's all for charity!

Movember is the Prostate Cancer Charity campaign which asks blokes to grow a "Mo" (moustache) for November to raise as much money as possible.

This is a great reason for me to look so ridiculous, so if you can find a few spare pounds to donate , I'd be very grateful for your support.

WESTERN COUNTY CHAMPS 7/8TH NOV

Siobhan O'connor, Joss Bennett, Martin Bleaken and Harri Elmer attended the above champs. Well done to Siobhan ,  who won and got both the Senior and junior records in the 200.I.M, fantastic. Siobhan also won the 15 and under fly and was  2nd in open age group and was 2nd in junior back and 6th in open back. Also very well done to Joss who won the junior 200 Fly. brilliant swimming guys.

Also well done to Rosalind Cranham who has achieved her first district time in the 100 Back.
