WORLD RECORD FOR YOUNGEST CHANNEL SWIMMERS
Well done to the 12yr and younger bristol based swimmers who have broken the record for the youngest team to swim the channel. James Elmer who swims for Keynsham was part of the team that swam for about 14 hours and achieved the swim on the 3rd Sept. Rosalind Cranham was a reserve. Both swimmers have been training for this event for 2 years. What a brilliant commitment and achievement.

Well done to the junior swimmers that competed in the above gala. It was a strongly fought gala. Weston had a great team and well done to them on their excellent win. Keynsham unfortunatly had some big gaps in some of their age groups which meant that swimmers were swimming up an age or two. Katie Parfitt deserves a mention for her wins in the 10, 11 and 12 year old age groups! Great swimming Katie.
Thanks to our club captains and all our other volenteers for helping with this gala.
