Keynsham swimming club is a competetive club near Bath and Bristol, in Somerset, UK.

We are memebers of the British Amateur Swimming Association(ASA) and Western Counties Amateur Swimming Association(ASA).

The club competes in many arenas and has swimmers in such competitions as the Speedo League, Southern Junior League, Western Counties Championships, Somerset County Championships, British National Championships and many more.

We compete against clubs mostly from the South West such as Millfield, Weston-Super-Mare, Cardif, Soundwell, Bristol Penguins, Bristol Henleaze, Bristol North swimming clubs and many more.

BRISTOL HALF MARATHON 5TH SEPT

Well done to the Keynsham team of  Eve Lockett, Abbie Bidgood, Joe and Sam Beament. All ran brilliantly to raise money for Access Sport. Thanks to all those that sponsored them. Well done Team.

WORLD RECORD FOR YOUNGEST CHANNEL SWIMMERS

Well done to the 12yr and younger bristol based swimmers who have broken the record for the youngest team to swim the channel. James Elmer who swims for Keynsham was part of the team that swam for about 14 hours and achieved the swim on the 3rd Sept. Rosalind Cranham was a reserve. Both swimmers have been training for this event for 2 years. What a brilliant commitment and achievement.

BREASTSTROKE CLINIC WEDS 23RD SEPT

Rich Webb (Keynsham and Team Bath) International Breaststroke swimmer who represented Great Britain in The World Swimming Championships in Rome in July is coming to give tips and demostrations on Wednesday.

Juniors 7 to 8 pm

Gold and Seniors  8 to 9pm.

Please bring a towel onto poolside to keep warm during demos.

TROPHY GALA AT HORFIELD 12TH SEPT

 The final team list is up for the first gala of the season. Please tick your name as soon as pos. Please be at Horfield at 4.45pm for a 5 pm warm up. This is an excellent gala to warm up to before The National League starts. Good luck to the Keynsham team.

Somerset Development Meet 3/4th Oct.

This meet is open to all swimmers that are working towards county times, including Gold squad swimmers. Please see Bet, Lynne or Rachel Radford. The closing date is the beginning of Sept so you need to get your skates on!
