Keynsham swimming club is a competetive club near Bath and Bristol, in Somerset, UK.

We are memebers of the British Amateur Swimming Association(ASA) and Western Counties Amateur Swimming Association(ASA).

The club competes in many arenas and has swimmers in such competitions as the Speedo League, Southern Junior League, Western Counties Championships, Somerset County Championships, British National Championships and many more.

We compete against clubs mostly from the South West such as Millfield, Weston-Super-Mare, Cardif, Soundwell, Bristol Penguins, Bristol Henleaze, Bristol North swimming clubs and many more.

BRISTOL HALF MARATHON 5TH SEPT

Well done to the Keynsham team of  Eve Lockett, Abbie Bidgood, Joe and Sam Beament. All ran brilliantly to raise money for Access Sport. Thanks to all those that sponsored them. Well done Team.

SOMERSET DEVELOPMENT MEET 2/3RD OCT

This meet which is held at Hutton Moor, Weston Super Mare is a great competition for those that are going for county times. All Gold squad members that have not entered the Bristol Norths should be entering this please. Also all Junior and Senior squad swimmers this is great for you too. Entries have to be in by this Monday 12th Sept.

Somerset Development Meet 3/4th Oct.

This meet is open to all swimmers that are working towards county times, including Gold squad swimmers. Please see Bet, Lynne or Rachel Radford. The closing date is the beginning of Sept so you need to get your skates on!

CLOVELLY RNLI AUG 2009

Well done to Stuart Olds, James Fackrell, Darren Tubb, Joe Beament, Derek Baker, Terry Langdon, Nick Doble and Jamie Shattock who are raising money for Clovelly RNLI. Stuart won the 105 mile bike ride with Joe, Derek and Darren. All did the 2.5 mile open water swim with James coming in 1st. All Keynsham swimmers came in before anyone else, fantastic. Lots of money raised and a fab weekend as usual.

WORLDS AND NATIONALS 2009

Well done to Rich Webb who swam at the Worlds in Rome in 200 Breast. Amazing competition and Rich kept his cool and swam fab.

Well done to Siobhan O'connor at The Nationals who achieved Gold in 100 Free, 100 Fly, 200 Free and 200 I.M. She was also 5th in 200 Back and 100 Breast. This incredible swimming made Siobhan top 13 yr old girl in the Country, wow!!

Loren and Martin Bleaken, Joss Bennett, Erin Jeffery and Simon Rex also qualified and swam at the Nationals, well done.

WESTERN COUNTY SPRINT CHAMPS 28TH JUNE

Well done to Hayley Bidgood, Verity Brunwin and Ciaran O'Connor who represented Keynsham and Katie and Emily Parfitt, Joel Dixson and Ollie Press who represented Bath Uni.
